Why visit?
Jeu de Boer is an activity farm on Galgweg in Hazerswoude-Dorp, surrounded by the Green Heart polder landscape. Activities on and around the working farm are designed for families, groups of friends, companies and schools. This is not a recreated farm setting: cattle, sheep, goats, ponies, rabbits and chickens live on the farm and in the meadows.
The range is broad. Visitors can play farm golf among the cattle, try farm bowling and rural team games, explore the polder by kick scooter or follow a GPS trail. The Kale Greet GPS trail takes four hours or more. The e-chopper route takes roughly two to two and a half hours and passes nature areas, windmills, farms, dykes and villages. A valid driving licence or moped certificate and a deposit are required for an e-chopper.
For small groups, Jeu de Boeren is an accessible one-hour game. The provider says children from around seven can manage farm golf, which takes one to one and a half hours.
